| John is keen on physical fitness and swims &
sails regularly. He was disabled in his early twenties following a
road accident but has never allowed it to prevent him from leading
a full and active life. A Volunteer Ambulance Car Driver for some
years he has also counselled amputees in a bid to enable them to come
to terms with their new lifestyle. A fully trained advocate and county
minibus drive, John has successfully supported members on DLA appeals,
tribunals and funding applications. He also actively encourages member
involvement in sports activities including sailing, swimming, basketball
and rugby. |

| Wendy joined Gloucestershire Lifestyles in August
2006. She previously worked as a Customer Services Officer in the
Social Services Help Desk, where she supported people and took referrals
over the telephone. She then moved on to working for Social Services
in the community as a Rehabilitation Assistant, working with people
who suffered from dementia and depression. She enjoys helping and
supporting people on a face to face basis. |
